The GENIUS plastic transport containers are defined for damaged and defective lithium-ion batteries/modules. The necessary safety (layer thickness on PyroBubbles®) depends on the cell chemistry, mass and condition of the batteries or modules. Filling and emptying processes are designed for easy handling.

We offer these security containers in three different packaging concepts:

  1. An optimal safety level is ensured due to the powder-coated steel- made inner basket (Advanced and Premium). The load remains within the safety distances at all times, both to the outside of the container and to the bottom. The inner basket is permeable to any leaking electrolyte.

Cushions are used in the Basic and Premium models. These cushions are surrounded by thin, needle-punched polyethylene (PE) film and filled with PyroBubbles®. If necessary (thermal runaway), the film dissolves and the extinguishing medium PyroBubbles® unfolds its full effect.
